Banishing Salt | 48oz
Banishing Salt | A Scorpio Season Preparation
There are things we must learn to turn away from. Old attachments, unwelcome influences, the lingering weight of what no longer belongs beneath our roof.
Prepared by the hands of a Scorpio during Scorpio season, this banishing salt was made with the old understanding that clearing away is as necessary as calling in. That every threshold must sometimes be swept, every room opened, and every unwanted thing given leave to depart.
A coarse salt preparation containing the ashes of palo santo, rosemary, eucalyptus, incense, charcoal, oregano, pine, and wormseed, together with black peppercorns, iron, the remains of thirteen burned matches, and three knotted ropes.
Each ingredient was chosen for its place in the working. The herbs for cleansing, the iron for protection, the pepper for driving away, and the knots for the severing of unwanted ties.
Made in small batches for the tending of thresholds, the clearing of spaces, and the symbolic release of what has overstayed its welcome.
For ritual use only. Not for consumption or application to the body.
